I just saw they’re going to be playing in Austin, Texas in August! I told my son who lives there now that he really should go see them in concert with his girlfriend! I love that he’s been exposed to all kinds of music since the day he was born, and people used to be shocked when he knew the lyrics to music that was from decades ago. Nobody could ever trip him up with a song that he wasn’t familiar with. Now he’s 35 years old and has a very well rounded appreciation of music! 🌞🌴🌺🥰⛵️

Growing up in Hollywood I was 12 years old when this song was released. America is the quintessential California rock band! I spent my early twenties living in Venice Beach and went to Ventura County a couple times a month to spend time with a surfer that I was seeing at the time. We used to go to breakfast at this little place that had the best bangers and eggs! The owners were from Australia! 🌞🌴🌺🐬⛵️
